March 21 & 22, 2015
On March 21, BMS team driver, 11 year old Rowdy Heffner, wins the points series at Bumps and Jumps raceway in his number 14 BMS sprinter. The next day, March 22, teammate 10 year old Ryan Juliana wrapped up the points at The Hidden Raceway in his BMS number 02 sprinter, same number as “Uncle Chris” with one race remaining. Being both boys rookie season in the sprint series, they proved they have what it takes to be a successful driver.
After a 4th place finish in the season opener, Rowdy finished In the top 3 the rest of the season with three wins. Ryan has an incredible 5 wins with one race remaining. Both kids did an amazing job all season long. Congratulations to the “young guns”. They are two super young men!
Sportsman Late Model
Way to go Sara Haynes. Sara won the Sportsman Late Model division points series in her BMS car at The Hidden Raceway. You go, Mrs !!!
Gil Palomino finished second. Good job Gil
17.5 Spec Sprint
Brock Heffner, Rowdy’s dad, also won the points series at Bumps and Jumps raceway on the same day that Rowdy won. Brock drove Chris Fair’s BMS number 02 sprinter to one victory and amazing six top 3 finishes in a highly competitive series.
Congratulations to Kasey Hess for winning the 17.5 EDM points series in his BMS EDM at Bumps and Jumps raceway. Kasey took home three wins. Kasey also came in second in the 17.5 Late Model division in his BMS. Kasey has proved to be an excellent driver as shown by his results.

Our first goal is to have an enjoyable experience and then to see the success they have. We thoroughly enjoy racing at all the tracks we have visited and hope to expand to tracks that are new to us”.

14 BMS DRIVERS MAKE THE A-MAINS AT FEBRUARY FREEZE
Sportsman Late Model
Rookie driver Troy Rhome took the win in his BMS sportsman late model. Super drive for his first February Freeze. Congratulations T-Roy !!! Veteran driver Gill Palomino brought home 2nd place in his BMS ride. Paul Lighty did an excellent job bringing home 5th place. Brandy Heffner finished in the 8th spot.
17.5 Late Model
Kasey Hess worked his way to 3rd place in a very competitive field of cars. Dan Harding in his Dan’s Auto Body BMS landed a 6th place.
Phil Cooper finished 2nd with Josh Kreamer on his heels bringing home a 3rd place finish. Not far behind was Kasey Hess with a 5th place finish.
BMS owned 5 of the eight spots in the A main. Eric Martin brought home the gold in his rookie year. Eric ran a terrific race in his BMS machine doing an excellent job negotiating traffic. Look out for Eric, he will be a strong competitor. Young gun Rowdy Heffner (now an ancient 11 years old) brought home a second place finish in his BMS, Roost Rocket Designs, Moose Blocks entry. Rowdy is going to be a contender in the near future. Taylor Myers drove her BMS Roost Rocket, Moose Blocks machine to a 5th place finish. Taylor did an excellent job. Congrats!! Brandy Heffner drove the “Jeff Zartman rent-a-ride” to an 7th place finish and another young gun, 10 year old Ryan Juliana finished behind Brandy in 8th place. Terrific job to all !!
17.5 Sprint Car
BMS had 3 drivers qualify for the main event with Phil 0Cooper finishing in 3rd place in his crippled machine. Brock Heffner finished 7th in his “Chris Fair” prepared ride and hats off to George Williamson. GW finished in 8th place in his newly acquired BMS machine.
Phil cooper finished 5th in the BMS ride. Phil struggled thru bad luck all weekend but still did an excellent job.

10 YEAR OLD RYAN JULIANA IMPROVES HIS EXISTING TRACK RECORD AT “THE HANGAR”
On Sunday, February 8, 2015, 10 year old Ryan Juliana beat the track record that he currently held in the Sportsman Sprint division at The Hidden Raceway located in Harrisburg, Pa. Ryan, Nate Gill and Matt Groover ran a tight race with all three turning an incredible 64 laps. Ryan, Matt and Nate in that order are the top three in a very close points series.
